The foods that promote inflammation are notorious for transforming your health negatively. They rob you off of your enthusiasm and vitality, causing you to feel unhappy.

They also generally hasten your aging. Inflammation has links to heart disease, dementia, inflammatory bowel disease, and chronic pain. One element that significantly contributes to it is food.

Here are foods that may cause inflammation and the ways through which you can replace them.

Inflammation Causing Foods

  1. Refined starch and sugar

You risk suffering from inflammation each time that you eat any processed carbohydrates including; sucrose, lactose, and white foods.

That’s because these refined foods cause a drastic rise in the level of blood sugar. In turn, your insulin levels tend to rise, which may result in the triggering of your immune system. High insulin levels result in a pro-inflammatory response, which may cause you to experience the chronic type of this condition.

Not only that, starch and carbohydrate containing food can also be very harmful for your teeth. It is advised to always brush your teeth with a healthy, sugarfree and a less harmful vegan toothpaste every time you have consumed so that there would be limited contact with the teeth.

  1. Vegetable oil

Most are high in omega-6 fats, which leads to a reduction of the critical balance between omega-3 and 6 in your body. This loss of balance is what causes this condition.

  1. Red meat

When you eat red meat, you produce a chemical which is called Neu5gc. Your body, in turn, creates an inflammatory immune response to it.

  1. Dairy products

These aren’t so great, as your body naturally rejects dairy products and fights them with an inflammatory response. Your body is unable to synthesize the high levels of sugar and protein, found in dairy products efficiently.

  1. Wheat, barley, and rye

All these grains have gluten. It is a common allergen which, when ingested, can immediately cause your digestive tract to inflame.

  1. Chemicals-containing foods

The body cannot absorb artificial chemicals such as; additives, food coloring, and preservatives, which are found in many processed foods. Your body reacts to these non-food matters by causing inflammation.
